There is a Prop 65 warning on some Kradil products because in 1986 California voters approved a law known as the Safe Drinking Water and Toxic Enforcement Act, better known as Proposition 65. Proposition 65 is a California law that requires businesses to provide a warning label on products that contain any of over 1,000 chemicals, even if these chemicals are naturally occurring and are found in amounts that are significantly below the Food and Drug Administration (FDA) and World Health Organization (WHO) guidelines.

Please note our products are safe, but they contain the Prop 65 warning since there is potential for them to contain trace amounts of naturally occurring lead. We do not add lead to our products. The trace levels in some of our products result from the natural occurrence of heavy metals in the soils where the ingredients were grown. Many agricultural products grown in soil contain naturally occurring lead and other heavy metals. We have stringent controls in place to monitor heavy metals in our raw materials.
